LEAN MANAGEMENT
MAS Operating System (MOS) is the lean manufacturing system of MAS. The core of this system is based on the Toyota Production System (TPS) which focuses on maximizing the response of resources to customer demands. MAS began to assimilate lean manufacturing a decade ago and now, lean manufacturing has become a group-wide philosophy.
MOS reaches far beyond being a system to follow. It is also a process that unifies thinking to add value to the pursuit of excellence that drives MAS. Lean Manufacturing is strengthened by our knowledge dissemination across the organization as a primary method to problem solving, a sustainable way of eliminating waste while increasing profits, improving the quality of the end product and most importantly a philosophy that provide empowerment to our workforce to face the challenges and move forward.
The MOS portfolio is backed by more than 10 years of existence within MAS by standing firm in a wide range of complex and challenging environment whilst helping MAS achieve operational excellence. Over the last few years it has evolved from its primary focus of manufacturing to a Lean Enterprise that focuses on wider business. We strive to create an understanding, appreciation and application of Lean thinking across the organization.
